Good vibes aside, it's a shame our Chicago-centric coaching staff can't get out of the local talent pool as they build this class out.
No, that is great news! Pete made an excellent decision and major congrats to NU and their coaching staff led by CC. I have not seen Pete play but I definitely enjoyed watching Pete's Dad play on the Cavs he was a true skywalker with major skills. I believe he was the NBA's slam dunk champion in one of the first dunk contest with an amazing windmill jam in the mid-1980s. I believe his older brother is doing really well with the Lakers. So Pete has a great family history. This is great news for the program and a historic signing. The sky is the limit.

Great news! Coach Collins has really raised the bar for NU recruiting. So now it's time to get greedy — hope he can land a couple more good ones.

We need to get used to this. I can see a day very soon where we start becoming the prohibitive favorite for guys like this instead of the dark horse. Collins is the real deal. This is gonna be a fun ride!

At some point, Duke and Gonzaga were just good schools that had a little basketball success. Eventually they turned the corner to become year-in, year-out juggernauts. There's no reason to think we can't be something like that someday. We still have a long way to go, but this is at least a nice start.

Very impressive offer list, that includes several strong B1G programs...the exact group we should be beating for recruits in order to become a top team in our league....Michigan, OSU, Purdue...those are respectable names in men's BkB. A job well done by the staff...and by the player..both did great!
Might have helped Mirko ... but Rowley was a lost cause ... great body ... plenty athletic enough for his size ... but zero understanding of or feel for the game.
