For weeks, I have expected that UL's "highly rated" recruiting class would implode, and I don't think I am alone. I honestly did not anticipate Brohm returning to UL, and I am surprised the commits aren't being more patient with him. Either way, though, I never believed all these big shot prospects from the west coast were actually coming to UL. Why would they? More people will eventually understand that while money is important, there isn't enough money on the table in Louisville to compel very many top players with alternatives to sign themselves on in that mess of an athletics department. Most of these guys have other alternatives now that are just plain better for them.

Conversely, UK's 2023 recruiting class should soon look significantly better. Patience and solid work are generally rewarded. My hat is off to Stoops, Marrow, and White. Quality staff. Looking forward to Coen coming back.

They were never keeping this pretend class. This was some game that was being played. Satterfield leaving had nothing to do with it.

I think one of UL's top recruits flipped to TA&M where they are supposedly pushing the NIL envelope to the limit. U6 got out bid.

Nobody should be surprised at any of their de-commitmeets. When you buy your class, they only stay bought as long you are paying the most.

I looked over their board, according to it, this Sunday is going to be known as "Bloody Sunday" with at least 3 decommitting and maybe more.
Do you have a link? I kind of follow recruiting and I have not seen this statement. It may happen, but I haven't seen that kind of talk as of yet. CJB has spoken with the Clarkson's and I have been told that it went well. He will be at the championship game tomorrow night in CA. This will be followed by a visit with the CA recruits.

Davis and Owens are the only two decommits that I have seen posted.

Virtually every team had decommits. Coaching changes, family situations, change in rating of the player which could mean to better offers. U of L has multiple factors going on and may have more decommits than most. Money can get you players - but it can also cost you players!

Yeah but Brohm had a pretty good class at Purdue and some of those kids coming to UofL.
Micah Carter a DL from St X just changed his commitment to the Cards. Really good player

We’re still going to have a good recruiting class, I’ll take that trade for the coaching change any day.

UL's best CB (Clark) and top WR (Hudson) are skipping the bowl and turning pro. Both had eligibility left. Also an OL announced that he is transferring to Cincinnati. More holes to fill for Brohm.

Best of luck to Clark and Hudson, they will be missed. The OL is a native of Cincinnati, he was good one and will be missed. Next up.
