Didn’t take long for NIL and the portal to even the playing field. USC still a threat IMO but no reason we can’t take care of them. Will be interesting to see how they respond.
Our OL and DL better bring it at SC. If we go in there with the same mindset as we did against Illinois we should walk away with a win. There's not a team on our schedule that we can bully up front.

I do not think USC not being as good as expected really hurts PSU.
Losing a game to any team remaining on the schedule outside of O$U is the only thing that will keep PSU out of the playoffs. Which was the case with a ranked USC.
3 years ago when we were beating Iowa 17-3 before Clifford & Mustipher got hurt.

I can say objectively I don't think we look like the 4th "best" team in the country, but just win, baby. And make the playoffs... then anything can happen.
I think this OL can bully OSU too. I'm not saying they will but that they can. Our OL is the best we've had in a long time.
I didn't think they were as dominant yesterday as they were vs. Illinois. Ohio State is robust. To have a chance PSU will need to be able to stretch the field.
They had that 4 td favorite Rat Poison like they did against Bowling Green.
It's interesting that we're 4.5 pt favorites but ESPN only gives us a 48.4% chance to win.
I think PSU was #4 in 2021 - 5- 0 and then played out in Iowa when Clifford got hurt. Things unraveled from there.
