Man. After Stokes he’s who I want most in this class. What do you think the odds are ? I know it’s early. But I’m hoping he. Howard. Samuels etc puts off their decision until we get about a good look at Kam. Hawthorne may be ready to be a role player as a sophomore but idk if he’ll develop into a star that fast. I look at him as a 3 year type
if UK lands Stokes, I just dont see Ant Thompson wanting to come as well. thats just my gut
Sounded like we aren't i. great shape for Thompson. Who knows with these kids.
I still like Pope to find the right players. We are in for a great year this year and I trust him to land the right mix of talent for the next year.

As weak as the '26 class is, I'm not sweating any of these kids. Stokes included. The portal has really changed how I look at roster building.
I think Stokes may be the real deal though so you go hard after a kid like him until he says no. Agree transfers may be the bigger target next year overall unless Pope sees someone he feels will develop well and be here 3-4 years. My random thoughts.
