I assumed that was what you were referencing. Unfortunately your source is wrong or rather willfully misleading. The person is not in prison for abortion. The person (not really a “teen” which the headline and article suggest is a young girl, not an adult) is in jail for killing her baby and burning it, then moving the skeletal remains (twice). It is not an abortion issue.
Jail, not prison.
And post a link where I am innaccurate and I will apologise.

This version makes it sound like she was jailed for burning the dead body & not for the abortion.
She is teen, yes? Pvilletimmy argued this.
She is in jail for what the NY Times article said.
Below is a copy/paste from the Today article that was first referenced. It is paragraph 2 of the article. The individual (19 years old and not a young girl as other “news” sources try to make her out to be) was NOT charged for an illegal abortion.
“Celeste Burgess, 19, had pled guilty in Madison County District Court to "concealing or abandoning a dead body" earlier this year, according to court documents obtained by TODAY.com. The teen was sentenced on Thursday, July 20, documents show.”
The individual killed her baby, burned it (i believe from what I read, but admit that may be wrong), and then buried it. That is what should be the storyline.
That is correct. The individual is technically a teen as she is 19 years old. I also said the way certain news sources make her out to be a young, defenseless little girl. She is also technically an adult. The age is not really the point, or shouldn’t be.
