I know we have not played very good competition yet (to put it mildly) but never thought we would be able to say "the Cats have the 5th highest scoring offense in the country at 101.5 per game".

Now, if we can keep up the pace and score 100 every night out, it may be quite a season.

I'd take 80, probably even 70 pts/night in the big ten. We'd win a bunch of game scoring like that with a pretty long and active defense.

You're probably one of those complementary basketball whackos. What's wrong with scoring 100 a game and holding opponents to less than 60?

Despite having pretty much the same players as last year, the 2020-21 version of the Cats is so much better than last year's. Coming into the season, I would not have traded Spencer for Audige or Spencer for Berry, but it's clear that both of them offer considerably greater potential than Spencer. The 2020-21 versions of Buie, Greer and Beran are definitely better. I'm pretty sure Kopp and Nance have also improved. Gaines is back and healthy. Young will be better simply because the other pieces are more effective.

Looking forward to seeing what they can do for the rest of the year.
