Does anyone celebrate the SEC East or west TD champ? Because we’re doing it now and it makes no sense to me. I like the dude but why does one conference or another matter? If someone owns the college fball TD record they don’t say in “x” conference they just say he has the most.

No other sport values stats and records like baseball.

Yeah I get it, but baseball is basically two different pro leagues under an organization...in fact they legally were until 2000. It's different than say NFC and AFC.

Of course much of this has changed with interleague games and what not.
