Oweh would be removed from the team if it were me. I don’t care what he was paid. He’d be called in and told he’s no longer on the team, and I’d tell him we’re also letting the NBA know everything that happened so you can’t go there and pull the same sht. After what this organization did for you, you’ve shown you’re a pitiful person and you’re not welcomed back at UK ever. Get out and stay out.
Unless the SEC is incredibly weak then this team has a great chance of missing the tournament.

I don't believe they're that bad.
Matter of fact I think they're better than what they've showed.

With the money being spent and these players being practically professionals now, I’m 100% for this!
Who cares if it hurts recruiting, because UK’s recruiting couldn’t possibly get any worse, it’s basically in the pits of **** as we speak!
Have you seen us? UL and MSU are bottom half of the top 25 type teams and they ***** slapped us. Georgetown too for that matter and that was at home.
The problem is this has to get fixed asap. The non conference schedule is loaded and if it doesn’t get fixed until Christmas or January then we could be close to .500 going into the SEC with zero quality wins and really not much of a chance to dig our way out of the hole we made. We will need to the sec to be down to get the amount of wins we need but the problem is they won’t be quality wins.
I just don’t get Oweh. He was maybe the hardest working/hustling player last year and was also one of the most likable guys on the team. The guy here now seems like the exact opposite. I don’t know if he’s pissed that he had to come back to school or if he has it in his head that he has to play differently to make the nba? Or maybe he just isn’t hungry or have the drive anymore since he got a fat payday to come back. I’m sure the money is part of it. It’s natural to lose your edge when you have enough money to be comfortable and are no longer struggling. Just another bad part about NIL.

Oh yeah. Not only kicking a player off the team, but destroying his professional career too. Opposing coaches would use that against us forever and we would never land an elite recruit again. SMH some of the dumbest ideas you read on here.
My guy, it has legit tore my entire family up. There’s just a dread over the day and some of it is Oweh. We’ve met with him and spoke with him many times. And one of the events we had a pretty long conversation. He is extremely respectful and loves this place. I have no doubt in that. I was upset that night by I still believe he’s the issue and have for a while. Some people are really slick, he might be one. I haven’t trust him since middle of last year over crazy things I’ve seen in games. It’s my opinion.
If he’s the problem and I believe he is you have to send him packing now. If he’s not, and that could very well be, then I sincerely apologize.

I probably would just let the NBA thing handle itself which it would. I was pretty pissed last night. But I would remove him from the team 100%. No way I let a player take down my career and entire team. You damn right I’d throw his *** right off that team in a heartbeat. Use it, I’d explain it all to future recruits. IF what I think is accurate. Obviously if it’s not then no. Mark is well aware if it is or isn’t correct. Essentially I mean that if Oweh is what I think he is then I would 100% dismiss regardless of the money. If by chance I’m not on the right path obviously I wouldn’t.
At some point you when to run this like a basketball team, regardless of the NIL or recruiting. If it’s a team cancer that is killing it you have to remove I don’t care what comes from it.
