He was a huge factor in this win. I love how Coach Pope has confidence in playing his bench players. It isn’t an easy thing to give bench players meaningful time in a close competitive game. It isn’t easy to allow guys to play through mistakes or rough stretches. Cal and most coaches yank subs on their first mistake and they always play tentative.

He has a bright future and think he will be a key on this team next year. Happy for him tonight and he helped gain the win.

Yep, the best part is he could pull at least 1 MSU big away from the paint, which opened up more cutting lanes
That's why I don't like Amari out on top. He's not going to do anything with it out there, and isn't going much of a threat to drive to the basket, so no one really guards him when he's playing Mr Turret.

He's my favorite pickup on the team. I knew he was going to have games like this where he contributes. He's nearly a 1200 point scorer in college and has hit 38% of the 505 shot hes taken from 3.

I knew he can shoot. Today I saw he also can play good defense. Hopefully, this game will give him more minutes and more confidence. Great game! I like his game,

Has size to not need much room, prepared to shoot on catch - those 3 threes provided the separation

the foundation of Pope's system is to take the5 and move them to the top of key to free up room to drive and not clog the lane, Defense has to play the non-three threat 5 somewhat out there because they don't want him passing at will. I say this as fact, not as Amari lover, I don't like our big man's turn overs and not locking in rebounds.

That stretch was some damn inspiring basketball. Team could have easily folded and instead stepped up and answered the challenge. AA maybe most of all at a hugely critical time. If you love the game, I don’t see how you can’t love watching this team play.
