This is goofy, I know, but it's been one...hell...of...a...year...in 2022. I'm teased for being overly optimistic and patient to a fault, but this year has been a trial. If I'm honest, it's been brutal. I'm not one to delineate January 1 as a day for resolutions, but working in health care, losing my own small business, two family members and a wonderful rescue dog, and vowing to stay positive, the timing just works. Changing the tone and leaving 'outside worries' at the door when I walk in to a wonderful wife and two teenagers, I could go for some good music to play and/or bourbon to drink in the background. I don't need faux positivity, but I could go for any suggestions. Throw it out there. It may not be for me, but I love to explore options and appreciate what works for others. For different reasons, I love Chris Stapleton, AC/DC, Imagine Dragons, old rock, blues, jazz, and even Taylor Swift. Poke fun and throw out suggestions. I love BBN, and will laugh, chuckle, and flip the proverbial bird as I sip some good bourbon. Thanks for helping a Blue Brother out. I've lived by the mantra that you'll always find others doing better than you, and others needing help or wishing they could be you, and I lean towards helping those who wish for my situation. Share what you like--pick others up, or share your woes. Bring it, Brothers and Sisters, with love from one who appreciates it. Carry on. Peace, love, and mullets to all.

EDIT: I feel like I'm channeling my inner @KINGBEAST, as he is always positive, leading, and wrangling the troops. Cheers, Friends, with love.

Noticed the loss of rescue dog which hits close to home for me. Please find another dog that desparately needs saving. They won’t “replace” the one you lost, but will help you mend your broken spirit.

when you are ready, definitely foster or rescue another dog. As Bill said, the shelters are full and they desperately need people who care to help out.

I like girl singers with nice voices, so a couple of my favorites are Brandi Carlile and Regina Spektor. Both have large catalogs to check out.

I also like good old fashioned rock. Clutch is one of my favorite bands. They’ve been pumping out music for 20 years, but their self titled release is still my favorite.
