Just a rumor I heard on the net. Smallwood is right behind him.. I think we'll be fine at receiver....

I agree. I think we'll see some nice play at WR. This offense Riley employs is good to go. He just has to remember to call run plays and not get caught up w/ all pass. After the Texas loss last season, he adjusted the sails and the offense took off.

Let's hope rumors coming out this spring are legit. Every year we hear in the spring, summer, and fall about how great certain players are looking, only to see them mostly no-show during the season and struggle to get on the field. I believe the difference this year is a new set of coaches working with them. Players that are moving up into the starting roles now are players recruited the last 1-3 years by the new staff after the Bob purged his staff. The staff changes will really start to pay dividends from this time forward with "their players" moving into starting roles.

Physically speaking, Smallwood reminds me of Justin Blackmon.

As I've said before though, with Perine, Mayfield and Mixon behind the line of scrimmage, it's a great time to be a WR for the Sooners.

He's not joking........................HA!

Oh, I'd love it, transcending the dominance we had in the mid 70s.

At least playing for the title from now until 2023? Bring it!

Of course my biggest fear would be going 0 for 8. Big drag...o_O

No, I'm just being flippant as usual.

It's just that, it seems like our OU teams have no problem getting to the pinnacle of excellence, we just can't seem to close the deal and win the BIG trophy. Getting really tired of that.

(no, golf, gymnastics, curling, all respectable sports indeed, not the same)
