1. While other terrorists exist in the world, by far the largest and most deadly is that posed by radical Islamists. We are not at war with Islam, we are at war with radical Islamists.
2. The obvious difference between the Israeli settlers killing of the Palestinians is that Israel will try and convict the perpetrators. The perps would be celebrated by the radical Islamists if the reverse were true.
3. Libs on the board make fun of the Republican field. But what's far more hilarious is the Dem field. Hillary is DOA because of both her incompetence and her serial lying and deceit. Sanders is a socialist that excites the Dem base but even Chrissy "Tingles" Matthews thinks he is a joke. Dems are begging the idiot Biden to enter the race.
4. Black Lives Matter is a joke. Far more police officers are killed by blacks than blacks are "murdered" by cops. I use murdered to convey deaths where the police officer is convicted of a crime.
5. Secularists have been responsible for far more deaths during wars than those killed during "religious" wars.

I'm not sure. I do know that he was a convicted felon who had no business being on the streets. I feel for the officer's family. Such a tragic death of man doing his job. Senseless killing and the perp deserves the death penalty. Having lived in Memphis for 7 years, I consider it my adopted home town. It's a great place to live. So much to offer from a cultural and entertainment perspective. But there is a lot of racism there. Blacks have taken over city government. The last white mayor of Memphis was in office when I lived there in the 80s. There has been a lot of White flight from the city. Memphis has been a civil rights center since MLK was killed there. It's a crying shame that that city, like many, has devolved over the years with racial hatred-on both sides.

Friend moved down there about 5 years ago, and unfortunately it sounds like it's become a crime ridden cesspool.

The company I worked for 1990-1994 had a bunch of business in Memphis and I was very aware of the city during those years. It was just as full of crime as it is now, it appears.

Some other observations: You posted some observations. You did not ask for replies. The replies (name calling) you received were typical of the tolerant, progressive, enlightened ones. The "deep thinkers," if you will.

#1 - How do you know? I guess what I'm saying is, how is it possible you put a number on the amount of extremists or radicals out there? Do you use the news, that loops the same video footage and stories over and over again and only focus on one part of the world because they know that sensationalism and hysteria sells? I'm willing to bet we have quite a few home-grown radicals who would love nothing more than to cause harm to our own people and country. Do I know this for sure? Absolutely not. Why? Because nobody seems to care about the McVeigh's of this part of the world.

#2 - Try being a terrorist caught in the act in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, UAE, etc. Your trial won't last very long, and your head won't stay connected very long. Look it up.

#3 - Liberal make fun of Republicans? Then you follow that up with your own making fun of the Democrats. That's a head scratcher that doesn't need more posted...

#4 - So Black Lives Matters is a joke? Where are your statistics about the number of lives taken? I'd be interested in seeing it. I'm not saying you are wrong, but if you don't post statistics then it's like saying QB X is better than QB Y because I said so....The cop in TN was murdered, and that's horrible. The black guy in Cincy was murdered, by the cop, too is horrible.

#5 - Why didn't you just include this in your #1? Is five your magic number or your quota? ;)
