1. If we end the season with a defense ranked in the bottom 5-15% of the country, can we expect some coaching turnover on that side of the ball?
It seems to me that someone will have to fall on their sword or be sacrificed in order to give the paying public the blood they desire. The defense is by far the worst part of the team. I would not run the ball even once if I coached against Neb...not once.
2. Where are we on recruiting and re-stocking the shelves?
I see that we have had numerous visitors but not many seem to be pulling the trigger. In fact, since the season started we have seen a huge slow down in commits. If we don't at least salvage a fantastic recruiting class then I have to seriously question our AD and head coach. We have been told that MR does not have enough warm bodies, well then, where is the recruiting push?
3. Do you see relief on the schedule next year?
I do. If we can have a competitive team there is no reason to think we cant be 6-1 or 5-2 in our first set of 7 games. If MR can't show us something at the start of next year then I will lose faith completely.
