How is a cordless weedeater or any other battery powered thing greener than i.c.e ? In a 30 year span how many batteries would I go through?
What is the carbon footprint to make a battery compared to what energy they produce?
My chainsaw is 30 years old & I have beat the thing to death, only to replace the plug & filter.
If a person would compare the carbon footprint of each , which one would be the greenest?

The appearance of good vs the reality of good. We did a full day’s marketing training on it. You don’t have to actually do something better. You just have to make people feel like they’re doing better when the actual reality could be the complete opposite.

Such a problem in this country .
That's why I asked the question, hoping some Democrat who pukes out green science could tell me .
With my small hand tools I love cordless, but the cost of batteries & life expectancy they are neither green or economical in the long term . On a side note the China freight brand buyer(sp) fits dewalt & mac cordless tools
