Good read. Thanks for sharing.

The interviewer could’ve asked about Gaines, the team’s #2 returning scorer.

Like the positive comments about Young as well. Glad we were able to redshirt it; should make quite a difference.

His comments about Jones stand out to me. Big body, athletic and can shoot. And suggests that's all new for NU.

And, IIRC, he uses "tremendous" in the describing the leap that Nance and Kopp have made.

Will be fun to watch this team develop.

Something to read besides whether Illinois has any size. Or if Zion would be a Thing at NU.

AJ seems pumped about Jones:

Yeah, thanks for sending, though it's mostly a puff piece. Unsurprising obviously given it's the NU website! He basically said nice things about everyone. Except I think he forgot to mention Gaines!

In any event, hope all of those areas of development play out on the court...

He said nice things about everyone, but wasn’t asked about Gaines. Then he said he was lonely in the spring, after all those players left.

Probably intentional given Gaines' injury status. Avoids AJ accidentally disclosing any protected health information...
