This team has "Bo's Players," just like last year's team.
Last year we were 9-3.
This year we have an "easier schedule" than last year.
So why is our record going to be so much worse this year?

We changed schemes on O and D - we are not playing parts of both of those changes well. Can't stop the pass. Inconsistent on O - and we've had some poor coaching to close out games

All adds up to 2-4

28% of our players are walkons. The top 40 teams average 8%.

We have zero NFL talent besides Collins.

Our schedule is not easier than last year.

We are lacking depth due to terrible roster management and since 2012 we have had an entire recruiting class worth of players either transfer, get booted, or are non contributors.

19 different starters on defense this year due to injury.

Because we have a coaching staff that has never adapted with the game just as the Oregon State fans have pointed out. We have new schemes, a pile of injuries, thin spots and some pretty bad game management.

Haven't we always had higher percent of walks-ons vs the top 40 average? What about the Dr Tom's teams that had like 170 man rosters? Guessing the % then was to 50% walk-ons.

And it's not like those 9-4 teams was ever loaded with more than a few NFL talent guys.

Injuries on D have been killer. I'll give you that but guys like weber have been a pleasant surprise. But yes injuries and suspensions at DE are killing us on passing downs.

And maybe the schedule isn't easier but the last 2 losses have been to bad teams. you have to go back to 2009 since we've lost to a team like Illinois. We have more talent then that even with all the walk-ons, injuries, and lack of NFL talent.

We never had anywhere close to 28% walkons on our travel roster. Thanks to awful recruiting the last 7 years here we are.

Why even call it recruiting? Going out one month out of the year and loading up on whoever and then giving welfare scholarships to walkons just to fill out a class doesn't equal recruiting in my book. The last regime literally stole money from the University of Nebraska. Just boggles the mind.

Could have won both BYU and Wisky game had Brown made one FG.

And the biggest issue, our QB is struggling. We had a one TD lead in the 3rd when we had the wind. One freaking drive would have possibly iced the game. We gained practically no yards in the 3rd.
