Not sure why. Its clear.
Hmmm. The ESPN App was saying neither game had started around 1:30 pm. I see it’s on now.

By the way, not a fan of the Camo hats on Sundays. Especially with the classic pinstripes uniform.

The start time was pushed back to 2:30. It was announced yesterday.

They wear the cameo in honor of a veteran they have at the games on Sunday.

baseball team looking like the basketball team right now - folding up - 3 errors in the 9th and there goes a two run lead in the 9th

101 on how to lose a ball game in the 9th - not impressed at all with the new coach’s decisions so far

So if the pitcher throws the ball into the dugout (he wanted a new ball) without asking for time, it should have been a live ball.
2nd base ump blew that.

Pretty sure leaving the same pitcher in to let OU tie the game and then in the 9th hit the go ahead home run falls on the HC - if I’m wrong please tell me
I mean hindsight is always 20/20. Pitcher was cruising. It took a bad news bears bottom of the 9th to not hold on for that win. Had a new pitcher been brought in and gave up the bomb plenty would have been made about that given Sweeney had done just about everything he could to pick up the save.

Pitcher didn’t do anything wrong. His defense made 3 errors in the 9th. They may not be officially scored that way, but clearly errors. Ball hit right to 2nd baseman in the shift, he boots it. Game would’ve been over. Ball hit to short, 2nd baseman doesn’t cover 2nd. Game would’ve been over. The go-ahead HR was hit in the 10th, not the 9th. He struck out the side in the 8th. The 9th his defense fell apart. The 10th he threw one pitch that got drilled. That happens in baseball sometimes.

It’s not always the pitcher’s fault. He actually did a good job and certainly good enough to win. Our middle infield cost us this one. Wonder how much the wet ball factored into it as well. Oklahoma booted a few too.

Regardless, this is a brutal loss to open up conference play. As someone mentioned, this team reminds me of our basketball team so far.

You're wrong. The pitcher was doing his job. The defense behind him was not. Everyone who watched the game understood that.
