Aaron Rodgers is awesome, but in my humble opinion there's only one choice to succeed Mr. Trebek as Jeopardy's regular host:

He doesn’t want the job anyway. Ken hasn’t spent 50+ years in front of a TV camera hosting a game show. Considering that I think he did just fine.
I'm glad he doesn't want it. Prolly best contestant ever, but I thought he sucked.
I was surprised that he did a decent job of it. I'm ok with rotating hosts for a while, it's hard to imagine a regular replacement. (Burton is an interesting idea though)
Edit: I really want James Holhauzer to host. He's the kind of guy who would laugh at a contestant for a wrong answer and then call them "dumbass".

That show died with Trebek. Shut it down.
I tried to watch since he died, just awful...katie couric for a week? WTF...who is next? Al Roker? Maybe we can get Oprah.

Don't know if he'd even be interested, but I think the best choice for the next full-time host would be Kelsey Grammar.
I've only caught a few shows with guest hosts but I thought the guy who is a producer for the show did well when he filled in. I don't recall his name but he seemed like a natural.
Gonna go way out on a limb here (a very sturdy trunk sized limb) and say that the permanent replacement will be a minority...more than likely female.

I've come around on Rodgers. I mean, most NFL quarterbacks are undoubtedly out of touch douchebags, but I watched a long form sit down interview/conversation he had with Justin Vernon on the Youtubes a while back and thought he came across pretty genuine and personable.
I was high on Ken Jennings til I saw him host, he doesn't have the charisma for it. I'd love to see Burton get a shot, at least as a guest, to see how he does.
I'd love to see Salma Hayek host it, topless.
