Did we totally give up on it? Seem like we passed way more than running. I know our line is a work in progress. But you at least keep the defense honest.

When we went to the power run set we narched down and scored. Then we never went to the power run set again.
Im pissed for the kids cause theybwere not prepared for this game.
Should have been in a 3-4 and have a spy on the qb as well as a spy on the only receiver they wanted to throw to.

Ironically, i would have brought in Lamar to run on that 4th and 11.
Then again, it would have been called back for holding.
Or worse, it would have succeeded, and UofL gets an undeserving win.
The running game is stunted because of the inept line, and no FB.

They abandoned the run early and became predictable.
They needed to at least hand it off a few more times to keep Houston honest, even if it wasn't going to "work" in terms of yards gained. Even a two yard run on an early down is better than asking Lamar to do it all.
