He looks a little fragile, but when you can shoot, finish with both hands that’s less important. Him next to Oweh or coming from Oweh , should give us that one two punch that we were missing when Butler was injured.

How is his defense and passing? Any better that Rob D. Who he reminds me a little bit of.

Hopefully, we can get another big PG that can shoot, pass and finish around the rim and that will make us more difficult to guard.

Now he just needs to learn to fall on every drive.

Is he a Point Guard? I saw no distribution of the ball, passing skills, etc. But, he looks good with attacking the basket and shooting as a 2 guard. Is Jasper Johnson the planned point guard?

I was thinking Sears too.
But there is one slightly concerning thing. On his jump shot he turns quite a bit with his feet, showing he's going to shoot & not drive. You don't want them completely perpendicular to the line to the rim, but maybe only 15 degrees turn, he's more at a 30 degrees turn.

I don't think Pope's system is overly reliant on a ball dominant PG. Decision making is pretty evenly distributed 1-5.

If he is a traditional PG, that's great! If he's not, that's fine and dandy.

He’s more of a combo guard. The entire last portion is separated into assists. Watch the end of the video.
