Reminds of Mark Sears. Now he just needs to learn to fall on every drive. He's going to be a good one for us. Plays below the rim but very crafty getting his shot off in traffic.

He looks a little fragile, but when you can shoot, finish with both hands that’s less important. Him next to Oweh or coming from Oweh , should give us that one two punch that we were missing when Butler was injured.
How is his defense and passing? Any better that Rob D. Who he reminds me a little bit of.
Hopefully, we can get another big PG that can shoot, pass and finish around the rim and that will make us more difficult to guard.

I like that he can finish with both hands. Like Sears, don’t let him go left! His playing time may depend on his defense.
My hope is he can do well backing up a transfer pg and the following year he and T. Kinney can split the pg minutes. That would be a sick duo.
Is he a Point Guard? I saw no distribution of the ball, passing skills, etc. But, he looks good with attacking the basket and shooting as a 2 guard. Is Jasper Johnson the planned point guard?
He’s a combo guard just like Jasper. Lewis will be the PG if you have to play them both, largely based on the strengths of the two players

Yeah, he looks about 6'0 to me, but an outstanding skill set. Can handle, finish with both hands, shoot the runner, hit the three. The kind of all around player Pope looks for.

But there is one slightly concerning thing. On his jump shot he turns quite a bit with his feet, showing he's going to shoot & not drive. You don't want them completely perpendicular to the line to the rim, but maybe only 15 degrees turn, he's more at a 30 degrees turn.

I told myself I wasn’t going to get excited about freshman anymore, but this kids jumper is gorgeous
I don't think Pope's system is overly reliant on a ball dominant PG. Decision making is pretty evenly distributed 1-5.
