I've created some files to get an overview of what the ACC might look like in 2017. I tried to get at least 9 players listed for each team. I only wanted to include freshman that were listed in the top 100 of the RSCI Rankings (as most freshman outside of the top 100 usually don't contribute a whole lot), but some teams were a bit short on numbers, so I used 247's rankings for teams like Georgia Tech and Boston College. I'm pretty sure that I have all of the eligible transfers included. Guys that are sitting out this year aren't on the list (Dwayne Sutton, UNCA to Louisville, for example). The only player that might be included is Andrew White - he's still deciding on Syracuse or VCU for a place to transfer... Cuse could be very, very good with the inclusion of White.

The images should have lined up nicely. Oh well. I'm not going to worry about it. It should be fairly clean to analyze for the most part.

Nice work! The ACC is going to be competitive. A lot of veteran teams equals a lot of parity.

Thanks all! I enjoy creating files like this for some reason. I was wanting to get a run-down of what the rotations look like because the turnover rate seems awfully high nowadays - between NBA early entries, guys transferring out, grad transfers coming in that are immediately eligible, and freshman - well, that's a lot to keep up with. I will try to post my pre-season picks tomorrow.

Pitt has 4 seniors grabbing most of the minutes. How are they ranked relative to the others in the ACC? Stunningly great freshman are nice, but it is hard to replace 3 years of working with guys you know.

Seems like Bonzie Colson and Steve Vasturia have been at Notre Dame forever. Does Notre Dame get special dispensation for players they want to keep around?

Wow, this is pretty awesome. Thanks for putting it together.

That last column with parenthetical info, is that for newly eligible non-frosh and guys who've taken a medical redshirt?

In a subsequent post you mention analysis. Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but what do you mean? I'm looking at it on my phone so it's small and other than noting the columns and zooming in on Duke, specifically, maybe I'm missing something. I think it's really cool just to have the rosters and stats for making predictions; did you mean something more than that, like some moneyball analytics?

Andrew White to Syracuse. Wow. ACC is crazy stacked this year. I think this league has 12 of the top 40 teams to be honest. Outside of GT and BC, there will be very few easy games.

Bueller? Bueller?

Sorry, Dattier. I never saw your post the first time for some reason. The last column indicates eligible players with the listing of their previous school; I also included a parenthesis and included 2014-2015 for players who were injured last season and back this season. As far as analytics, no, I wasn't planning on doing anything specifically. I meant to say that the stats should be fairly easy to analyze as far as evaluating a team's experience, tendencies of players (statistical strengths and weaknesses), and incoming freshman that might make a big impact.

Thought that myself. But the height and weight of each player is taken from each school's website. Hopefully he's a legit 6'10 :)

Javin is 6'8 at best. May even be 6'7. His wingspan is sick though. So his height won't make much difference.

Interesting to note that nbadraft.net has Dennis Smith going #1 overall and draftexpress has him at #2. If he plays as good as some people are predicting and Yurtseven is eligible, this team could make a very deep run in the postseason. I projected them as an 8 seed, but I think they have a very high ceiling - potentially a top ten team.

Javin appears to be slightly taller than Amile in this pic. Click on the photo to expand the image.

Javin looks like he might even be taller than Marques in this photo.

Me personally, I've found group pics don't show a lot, it's all about position of people, camera angle, camera position. You can make each one look taller than the other just by changing positions in the pic. Hard to tell sometimes. In that one pic, you change Jack and Tatums positions, Jack would look taller.
