The list congrats to RJ as well for first team All ACC
I just saw this on Duke Men’s Basketball Facebook page and I saw where one person commented that RJ should’ve won it because he thinks Zion has been milking an injury.

I didn't watch enough Virginia games specifically with an eye on Hunter. But him beating out Tre for DPOY means he better have been pretty freaking good on that side of the ball. The more Duke transitioned into a switch everything type defense the less you got to see of Tre, but still. Tre put a lot of talented guys in his back pocket this year.
He's been the most enjoyable player, and best ever at Duke. Let me watch you in a Duke uniform for 9 more games Zion!
Zion became only the third player in ACC history to win both ACC POY and ACC ROY in the same season. Does anyone remember who the other 2 players were that won ACC POY and ACC ROY in the same season?

I fail to understand the logic of some voters. For example, how are Coby White and RJ Barrett not unanimous All-Rookie team selections? What could possibly go into your reasoning leaving either of those two completely off your list?
I see stuff like this all the time, where some player has out of this universe qualifications for an award and like 2 rogue voters still find somebody else to vote for.
Like who? Who left RJ and Colby off the all freshman team and how?
It shows how dominant Zion is that he can miss about 30% of the ACC schedule and still win POY.
The same 2 voters that gave Nassir Little a 6th man of the year vote lol
Who is Nassir Little? Is he a basketball player? Never heard of him.
I looked up the lists of winners of every ACC POY and ACC ROY. Duke leads both lists with 17 ACC POY winners and 11 ACC ROY winners.

Starting with 2000, Duke players have won 16 (8 of each award) out of the 40 total (20 of each award) ACC POY & ROY Awards that have been awarded.
Add 2 more accolades for Zion!!! Congrats!

I just saw a post from Duke Men’s Basketball on Facebook about how many all-time ACC POY Coach K has had since he’s been at Duke. He’s had 13 ACC POY in his 39 years at Duke and in comparison all of the other active coaches in the ACC have 6 total ACC POY in 94 combined seasons
