That offensive pass interference call was totally phantom. I bet even his fellow refs were pissed at him for that one! Props to the defense for stopping them after the interception and after the pass play to the three yard line. Sealed the game!!!

I can't get over the repeatedly bad ball placement to the advantage of the offense, but at least that went both ways.

I told my wife during the game that they could have picked guys from a tailgate at random, gave them ref uniforms and a whistle and a flag and they would have officiated a better game while holding a Bud Light.

The thing that bothers me are the bad calls they make that are in full view like the defensive pass interference call on Dawkins. The games where they missed the face mask calls against the other team but call them on us. It is also frustrating when they call holding on us but not our opponent. The ACC definitely needs better referees or a grading system where the bad ones get to call games. I swear it makes me think they are shaving points.

The no call on the false start when Syracuse was going for it on 4th down was another horrendous example of officiating.

The worst one I remember was the unnecessary roughness penalty where the QB ran out of bounds untouched on 4th down.

Have to disagree. Montgomery gave him a full two handed shove well after he was out of bounds. In fact, he shoved him right into #10 (not sure if that was Burns or Hawkins). Really was a bonehead play that kept their drive alive. Check the replay.

Didn't buy the call at the game, but after seeing the replay at home I definitely agree it was a foul.

There were 2 face masks on NC State they didn’t call. Blatant and easy face masks. Even the TV announcers mentioned it.
