Oh well, it makes as much sense as Oklahoma in the SEC or SoCal in the Big 10.

In the first instance, I disagree; in the second instance, I don't. Oklahoma has preexisting relationships with schools already admitted into the league in years gone by (Texas A&M, Arkansas, and Missouri) and lies in a contiguous state. It's not the same thing at all.

Interesting comment from an ACC official in the story about how important it was to add TX and CA to the ACC footprint. Said the top 4 most populated states are NY, FL, TX, and CA and now they’re in all of them.
