My family and I are heading up the D.C. Saturday morning for what will be our 6th ACCT in a row. We are pretty excited to watch Duke and tour the D.C. area. I'm hoping we can get the double bye because I don't think playing 4 straight days bodes very well for us.

If we end up tied with ND (which I think is the most likely outcome), do we get the 5 b/c of head-to-head or is there some other tiebreaker that would give us a chance at the 4?

Almost positive we would end up at #5. Would play the winner of 12 and 13 the first day (Wake or State) and would have to win three days in a row just to reach the finals. Pretty tough for a 6-7 man rotation.

I said this in another post. If we win and/or Notre Dame loses or we both lose on Saturday then we'll be the 4 seed and Notre Dame will be the 5 seed. I'll be pulling hard for NC State on Saturday. I'll also be pulling hard for Miami on Saturday as well.

My questions was what happens if Notre Dame wins and we lose -- i.e., we both end up at 11-7. I think it would be head-to-head b/c there are only two of us, but sometimes the tiebreaking rules can be more complex.

If that happens then we will be the 5 seed & ND will be the 4. The first tiebreaker is head to head, so it doesn't get anymore complicated than that since ND beat Duke.
