I have no insider information on him, but he is just so intriguing to me on why he doesn't play. I was watching Facebook live for a bit before a meeting and MRI and others were fielding questions from fans. They said that he is the toughest runner and mentioned as best blocker of the RB's. I know he had some knee trouble and he may just be good friends with those asked questions, but its interesting how great things are said about him and he isn't mentioned in any RB convos from the coaches.

Its two fold:

1. Adam was a 4.65 to 4.75 guy when he arrived. Injuries have slowed him even more and he basically has Imani Cross's speed now in a smaller body. Cross earned PT because he was pushing 240.

2. Nebraska already has a big back with much better speed and agility in Devine Ozigbo. They also have a collection of quicker smaller running backs with Terrell, Mikale, and now Bryant.

Adam fits well on special teams and is a good teammate, but the RB depth chart actually is pretty damn good. He's not as versatile as Devine. He doesn't have Terrell's pass catching ability or breakaway speed. He's not a potential return man like Tre Bryant, and he doesn't have the agility or quickness like Mikale.

He's also not quite big enough to play full back.

Great info. Thanks @Cornicator. Didn't realize his speed had fallen that far off. GBR!

Need to do some house cleaning at this position.. for some of these guys, it's now or never.

I've written most of them off and see next year as Ozigbo & Bryant, and we need an APB in the class this year.

Could he play D? Maybe Mike LB?
Look at our young crew of lb's and their size and weight = great; and even greater speed and pass coverage abilities. Would not be a good move this time; IMO, so leaves being a good performer playing roles, or a transfer down step.

Full post, real good breakdown. Curious if you have his 10 time, shuttle time or vertical? I'm a big short spurt person, 40 is tough for me to get behind for football players.
