Another portal player signs up! Aleksej Kostic is a 6'4" guard from Austria and played last year at BYU where he averaged 4.4 points per game in about 14 minutes per game as a freshman. He shot 36.7% from three. Before BYU, he played in the Austrian Superliga where he also shot 36% from three. In the 2023 U18 Eurobasket competition, he helped Austria finish fourth averaging 19 points per game while shooting 39% from three.

Why don’t you just pay the $9.99 a month and join the conversation on the rock? Don’t you get sick of talking to the same three or four posters every day? I don’t get it. Why not support the site and support Lou and Matt‘s efforts? You obviously have the means to subscribe. What gives? 🤷‍♂️

Probably because the moderator’s rule with an iron fist and some people choose to speak out with their pocket books. Then the moderators rely on minions to pressure everyone to toe the line and open their wallets.

There are a couple low hanging fruit that would drive membership up: published, written equally enforced rules about posting and a rant board behind the pay wall come to mind.

But keep doing you. Most of us freeloaders have multiple sources to derive info and can live with or without the Rock.

It's a few bucks a month to support NU sports and engage with others with common memories and interests. It isn't the US Senate in terms of rules and decorum. IMO it is better to check the ranting and insults at the door - juvenile behavior from adults who should know better - but seems to be a bit of throwing around insults is the order of the day so that's part of the vibe. Plus you get all the On3 content, as imperfect as it is.

I've availed myself of the free trial a couple of times, it's nothing special. A handful of people talking about high school juniors or transfers that might commit to NU.

The constant shilling by CSC just makes me less interested.

If NU ever makes it obvious how to contribute to NIL again, that's what will get my support. That, and exorbitant ticket prices.

Sorry but not sure that it supports NU Sports, The money does not go to NU. Helps with keeping people informed but no real support of the sports. On3 stuff is a lot less useful that what it replaced

There are some folks who spend a lot of time keeping this board alive with content and coverage.

Giving the dues is showing your respect and giving them their due.

You obviously enjoy it enough to keep coming back but some people here prefer to be a freeloader.
