He went 4-6 FG, 2-3 FT, 6 rebs in 17 min. Didn't watch it, but these games generally offer nothing in the way of D.

I have great confidence in Collins and his staff to identify terrific players. Getting them to commit has been very competitive but that comes with the territory especially when kids like Mark Smith blow up big time. AG will be a really good player for NU.

I have confidence too. But even Collins isn't perfect....(JV, JA?)

Ash is a decent player. He's just stuffed behind much better talent, such as the best PG ever to play at NU. He would actually be a pretty effective defensive-minded 1/2...but there's very few minutes to be had by that type of player when you consider our backcourt of BMac and Scottie.

He is limited offensively and needs to work on this if he is to see any increase in playing time

He'll never be much of an offensive player. He should be concentrating on not committing turnovers and hitting an open shot. Otherwise, he's very similar to a Jeremy Nash. Defense is where his potential lies.

That said, he did have one sweet dunk as a frosh.

I'd take Nash production as a Senior, 9 points and 4 rebounds per game.
