In today’s world of recruiting, AGENTS are the ones running the show. They're not just background players, they're the lead actors. An AGENT's main objective is to get their client the highest price possible, because that means a bigger commission for them. And how do they get that price up? By stirring up a bidding war, naturally! Hence, posting videos hinting they’re leaning towards one particular school.

Agents always have been running things-it's just out in the open now.
It's why recruiting news during the Spring would be interesting--as the AAU guys would talk to the recruiting sites, etc....and provide info. It's also why that would change once August came-because the Agents took over and when in-home visits, live period, etc...took over it's why some recruitments drastically change from the stuff we've heard in the early Spring.
