I personnal think, this will be Stoops breakout year...strong offense. QB, RB, WR, TE and offline....medium DE line, weak LB, very strong secondary.... Special teams, better then last years...my opinion...7-5/8-4...
Reminds me of Brooks 2007...offense pretty much carried the team...Woodson, Tamme, Burton, Little, Johnson etc...Masthay....Lindley, Braxton Kelly, Conner FB, Woodyard...etc etc
I'm new England pats fan since '84....it's usually the offense since Brady that carries the team...Ironically, Belichek, being so defensive minded coordinater under Bill Parcells during his tenure with the Giants...my point being...being a defensive minded HC is fine (Belichek, Stoops)...as long as you have a great OFFENSIVE minded assistant coach....

Below 6-6....Really disappointing. REALLY DISAPPOINTING!!!!
6-6...will take that, a bowl game and move on
7-5...this is what I actually expect.
8-4...Beating expectations but very doable with a couple good bounces
9-3....I don't see this happening

I still think we have a shot at 8-4. I really expect 7-5. 6-6 gets us a Bowl - but disappointing considering strength of schedule and this being year 4. I do expect our offense to much better - we should have won 8 last year - this is why I think our luck will turn and we get it this year. If we do - expectations for next year will go thru the roof!

P.S. I live in Florida - let's get at least 7 and maybe 8 - we have some very, very nice bowl games here in Central Florida!
If we get out of the gate with a win week 1 I'm saying 7-5 is hopeful, 6-6 is acceptable. Anything less is pretty deflating.

Just going to be very honest. I don't expect much. Every year there's this hype and glowing remarks. Then the season comes along.
I do know that Stoops has upgraded the talent and the coaching overall. The problem is that the SEC is the NFL lite. I really like Stoops and the staff he has put together.
I think Stoops and the team has to produce this year or UK will be starting all over again and soon. If there is no bowl this year, the fan enthusiasm will be gone and doubtful it will be back until he's gone. Hopeful for a 7-8 win year, but the schedule is very rugged as usual.

This year I'll be perfectly happy at 6-6. Next year, however, I expect 7-5 or better. If the guys can learn to win, which isn't as easy as it sounds, we could go 7-5 this year. I'd be thrilled.
Based on my observations and experiences as a long-suffering Ky Football fan of 50 or so years, I say 5-7.
At least 7-5, no doubt in my mind. If not, so what. We've sucked for decades. We'll get'em next year for sure.

For most of us...unfortunately, 6-6, 7-5 the occasional 8-4....Idk...WIsh this years team, (maybe, doubt it...) Would beat freaking FL!!!! Kick the mascot gator, in the head!! Tell their cheerleaders ours have won more championships than yours!!! Kings Island, doesn't do, "TSA security checks, like Walt DIsney World does!" Anything....(BTW, went this summer, too WDW...they really do! SAD!)

)I like our team but I think we still lack the senior leadership that the 2007 team had. Its hard to convince folks sometimes how important good talented senior leadership means to a team.
