I was the MSU poster who introduced you to Winston when we were discussing the Carey recruitment.

I was worried you guys might not make it and I know Izzo wants a 12th chance at redemption vs Coach K. For better or worse we had an easier time, though not an easier draw.

I'll provide some in the weeds analysis over the next 24 hours. Unfortunately, we cannot get down to DC from NYC feasibly, as my son has school the next morning...so it will not be in game reporting.

Hoping it is a great game. We've been the walking wounded all year so I can't empathize too much with Duke.

Last words , I am sure you get the allusion:
“Yon Cassius has a lean and hungry look.” :)

With as snakebitten as both teams are you'd think you'd be able to empathize more. As far as having an easier road...you most certainly have, Minnesota and LSU rolled over before the tip.

MSU did lose two starters in Langford and Ahrens. Ward (another starter) may be out for them as well tomorrow.

That’s right, I forgot about the Langford guy. In any event, not exactly the same as losing Zion, just in general or in importance to the team. But like always Izzo got them playing well and really tough

I think the intent of the OP was he can emphasize with what we are going through since injuries have been on both sides....or at least i believe that he was trying to be a good person! Not an easier draw is a bit rich...struggled against Bradley, played the 6th best team in their own conference and and then a good win vs a cold LSU team...i think our draw was a little more challenging

LSU beat Tenn,Aub. and Ky. They are a good team.
We jumped them.

MN beat Purdue recently and Purdue is in the elite 8.

You've struggled with UCF and Va Tech.

I'd say we had the tougher schedule and looked better.

First games are usually a struggle for most teams but we also just won the BT tourney , playing3 days in a row.

But you guys got swept by IU of all things and got beat by Illinois.

More than a few barbs in here.
Be careful what you wish for, it may come true.

Well, I would like to see you guys go up against a 7’6 guy that you aren’t used to seeing. Any team that’s not in UCF’s conference would struggle with that because it’s not everyday a team has to plan for a 7’6 dude.

BTW Duke alum Bilas picked MSU this morning, tougher team.
Well if Jay said it then we're screwed because he's never wrong. I didn't even realize Jay was an alum of Duke and for him to pick against us well he must feel pretty strongly.

LSU was a better team when they had their coach. You beat a decent Minnesota team who was without one of the best players in their program’s history.

The backhanded barbs you’ve managed to throw in throughout the thread aren’t a good look. Just grow up, accept both teams are really good and hope for an injury-free, well played game.

Duke beat Auburn and UK at full health themselves. We don’t even have to relate it through a common opponent as justification.

Duke beat Indiana by 20
MSU got swept by Indiana.
Duke beat Louisville.
MSU lost to Louisville.

For decoration, Virginia Tech beat Purdue

Let me know if you’d like to continue playing connect the dots.

It’s tough to be dominant for the entire tournament. Duke looked very good during the ACC tournament and has the ability to get back there. They’ve played tight out of the gate each game so far. You would think that we will get more and more comfortable each game and be able to find ourselves at some point. The Cam injury was just another obstacle that this team overcame.

We are very battle tested. I wouldn’t want to face us, that is all I’m saying.

I believe the phrase is "transitive postulate", but I haven't taken calculus since college so I may be wrong.

For what it’s worth, he also picked the tar holes to win it all.
Even the great (Dukie) Jay Bilas isn’t right all the time.

JB has a BIG Duke bias...it is ok

Looks like the whole crew on CBS SPORTS NETWORK is picking us...makes me nervous.

ON another matter, anyone see the dig found in North Dakota that is the best evidence of the moment the asteroid hit? Big feature in the NYT
