I am currently using the Z-pack to get rid of a sinus infection. Is there anyone here who was ever prescribed the Z-pack? Was it effective? Thanks...

Yes. For me, after first dose I was 50% better, second day 50% again, third day just about normal.

yes and no. As my GP says, he finds the z pack to about effective for about 60% of his patients.

Likely a viral infection and not bacterial, hard to distinguish between the two without some diagnostic or culturing, which my GP didn’t do either when I was prescribed the Z pack. Thankfully it worked great for me.

If you're don't feel a lot better by day three it's not working and you need a different medication. In my family of five I'd guess that it's the right medication about half the time. When it didn't work we were prescribed either amoxicillin or erythromycin.
