That was a good read. I will stick with his assessments in the future.

One typo "say" instead of "day".

I wouldn't say as always, DJ, but he does normally put out pretty strong pieces. I will say, that he is right about the fact that I expect K to do something, and obviously I have no clue what that is. However, it's been littered in a lot of posts- there is no doubt what our biggest flaw is and that is the glass- especially the Defensive glass. I see a team that, as Al pointed out, does not rebound as a team. I see a lot of guards stand around and watch as the shot goes up. That can't happen any more- especially if he is going to continue and not play Jeter or Obi. One of my adjustments would be to play Jeter more- Mostly because of the Ingram effect it has by allowing him to play the 3 more. Granted he has to stay out of foul trouble, big If, as, the refs target him. But it would be a reprieve in a way. Obviously it's more complicated than just that sub, so it will be interesting to see what happens. I dont think effort is the problem- it's just the right kind of effort. It's getting in your defensive stance, it's boxing out once the shot goes up and going after it- all 5 guys on defense. We aren't big enough or deep enough to take plays off on defense.

We all knew it would be a tough season, an up and down one. Obviously with the injury to Amile, it is a lot tougher than even anticipated. This is a good opportunity on Saturday to get a much needed win. It's not like we're getting trounced, we're losing late- my thought is because of youth. That can be learned. I'm not worried.

If I could have one single moment with this team to say something, I would show them the possessions following gaining a hard earned 6-8 point lead. They continually make bad decisions on Offense (quick shots, unforced turnovers) compounded by easy run outs the other way. They spend TONS of energy and it's been continually wiped away in 1-2 minutes multiple times per loss! These moments are the exact reason for the L's!!! I wouldn't talk about anything else, They are doing enough to win. They shot out of this world horribly vs Cuse, fit abused on the glass and still really should have won the game. (No Ref comment hid in there)

We are right there, I wouldn't change a lot besides use Jeter some more

Duke needs to go bigger in certain games, Cuse being a good example. The guards weren't penetrating so why not hammer them on the glass and get 2nd chance points?

Good one from "Feather" as always! I do think we will see a new wrinkle or two Saturday...Think of some of the reserves who have given K teams "lifts" in the past....Johnson,Burt,Love,Heaps....not giving up, EVER!!
