From last evening here in Anchorage, Alaska. (I did ask the Northwestern clad game photographer if any of the players were from Northwestern and she did not think so.)

Baseball's Anchorage Glacier Pilots Come from Behind 0-3 to Beat the Anchorage Bucs 5-4

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots and Anchorage Bucs are summer league teams made up of college players from across the country. While they receive a stipend and are hosted by local families, they maintain their amateur status in order to comply with NCAA Standards. Many of the players go on to play in the Major Leagues with the Pilots claiming Mark McGuire and Aaron Judge as former players.

A Game Photographer from Aanchorage advised me that she is headed to my Alma Mater, Northwestern, and that she will be enrolling in the university's journalism school, Medill as a graduate student. She is pictured here with camera in hand and wearing Northwestern swag:
