Albemarle vs South Davidson

I never though I see the day that Albemarle best chance at winning would be against South Davidson. I guess I'm privileged to have grown up in an era where Albemarle totally dominated everyone on the field besides T-Ville, but now what we have is an "Experimental" year at Albemarle. I remember when I was in school, South Davidson was a practice squad that our J.V. went up against. T.A. would score...4 or 5 TD/300 yards on 4 or 5 carries, and that'll be it. I saw him hit a kid one time and he went back at least 5 yards.

Anyways. I look for South Davidson to continue to make history Friday night. CC already hammered Albemarle and now we get ready for more pillaging from SD.

Final SD 30 AHS 14.

Sway, back then the cheerleaders would score 4 or 5 times but boy them days have came and gone lol

Sway, me and Buddy Rich went and visited Bluebones grave and the ground has cracked open and the grass was rearranged, I guess this Albemarle season has him turning over in his grave, I guess its good that he has passed on otherwise it would kill him to see the Bulldogs in this shape lol RIP BONES

Never ever would I have thought SD would have a snowballs chance in hell with even competing with albemarle much less beating them,I don't think it will happen this year...maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part...albemarle edges SD out by 1pt

1pt! lol good enough I guess. That'll be a moral victory. But SD crushes this 7th grade team....

I will almost guarantee that the Freshmen from next year will take most of these sophomore and juniors starting position...count on it.

If this crap doesn't turn around by next year, I might be with him. This season has caused me health problems.

This was before I met Bluebones but he told me about a season when we went 0-11. After we became foorball buddies we talked about that season and he hung in there till things turned around. That's what we need to do now. They can't get any worse and like they say it's always darkest just before the dawn. Remember that folks and lets go support the dogs this fri night. Just remember help is on the way. We just have to hang in there till the calvery arrives.

With no jv game I am assuming SD will dress around 30..Hope to make my first and maybe only game this season. Sure would like to see my dogs get their first and maybe only win this season. Go Dogs......

Buddy, I would love nothing more than seeing us win this game. However there is a better chance of a group of aliens kidnapping SD resulting in a forfeit win for us. It may happen by way of alien abduction but it wont be on the football field.

There is a more realistic way that AHS might not lose on Friday. The game may be canceled due to the protesting and possible threats of rioting in Albemarle. Maybe the football team is joining in to try to avoid the biggest home embarrassment in school history.

Funny you should say that Susan. My daughter just told me they are demonstrating downtown Albemarle at the courthouse.....

I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly Susan. Since 1951 I have loved the bulldogs. This is a hard season to take. but I truly believe they will get better in years to come. I may not be here but I have seen Albemarle at it's best and that is good enough for me.....

They are demonstrating at the courthouse in Albemarle. Saw video of the police bringing them bottle water. Very peaceful so far........

My daughter is a piece of work. Said the only reason they were demonstrating at the courthouse is because they were already there on charges.......

I Love Albemarle. You can have a Peaceful Protest and the Protesters will stick to the message. And Policemen brought water.

Local radio had about a dozen peaceful protestors at the courthouse and the local police were there trying to have a peaceful conversation. WZKY reported that the protestors left when the sun went down. Now....as for the game tonight... I am anxious to see if SD has improved any. IF they were to beat AHS, they have a chance at a four win season. Now that's an eye opener for SD. The truth is AHS wins this one. I hope to enjoy this game with the NCC head potentate or whatever you call the clubs' president. :) Buddy...do you have a way to the game tonight? I drive a Civic and it is low to the ground. Getting low is a NCC thing to do....could be fun.... free ride...won't ask you for gas money... :) :Let me know if you would like to head over together, my friend.
