I hope all the best for O'Connell, but seeing as how Kennard was a better ball player in high school than O'Connell will probably be at any point in his life, the prospect of him turning in a year-long performance comparable to what Kennard did in 2017 is pretty low.
By the way, is there some right-wing compulsion that drives some of you guys to make completely unnecessary political jabs when visiting a sports board?
Before anybody objects to my wording, understand I'm referring to the OP calling her a bartender. Although no clarification was needed, had he called her a congresswoman it would have been unnecessary but not a jab.
Do you prefer 1 term congresswoman who her party hates and took jobs from thousands in NYC?
I would have preferred no mention of her it all, as the only purpose it served was to throw a political jab in a completely unrelated topic. When you factor in he actually spelled out "O'Connell," in the title it makes even less sense to reference Ocasio-Cortez.
As to the rest of your post, well, you're being you. Question, though, do you really think a freshman congresswoman who had been in office a little over a month really made Jeff Bezos and Amazon scrap their New York plans?
I'm not asking about partisan politics. I'm asking you to step back and use objective reasoning. Do you really believe Ocasio-Cortez pitched a ***** and Amazon said, "Well, that's it, we're out of here?"
There's plenty of dems who recognize her for what she is.
There are also plenty of sports fans who blame refs everytime their team loses.

Luke was special. Can you imagine him as a senior on this team
AOC regardless needs to take advantage of his opportunity's. Both Alex and Luke lack a lot in their defensive talents. They both play turn your head and hope someone picks up their man on theway in for a lay up. Luke took advantage of his offensive skills and got his playing time because of it. Alex in opinion has not been consistant offensively although he has had his moments. Alex hustles and seems to come up with some timely rebounds however he does turn the ball over . Spike I understand your state mentioned about it being hard to do from the bench but when he is in the game he has to hit some shots to keep him in the game. I know this gets old but if your score 15 points a game but the guy your are guarding scores 20 then you are -5. I know there are different factors in the game such as defensive switch offs that may not be his fault when the manext he is guarding scores. I really think Coach K will not only give Alex more pt but anyone else on the team more pt but they have to take advantage when you play for a team with the talent Duke has. I doubt Cam plays today and if he does it may be limited. Alex should once again get the start and if he can put up 10 to 12 points and hold the guy he is gu adding to 8 or less and we win then Coach K shold reward him. OFC

This is exactly an example of an intelligent post that I expected from this board. I do not follow Duke recruiting and I do not know who your guards are going to be next year.
I did not mean to start a political discussion. I merely mentioned three initials that are popular now. I am guessing that outside of Duke basketball, no one knows or cares that O'Connell has the same initials. I do not talk politics with people that I do not know.
