Ali Rizvi grew up in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as a Muslim and eventually moved to Canada and also left Islam. He details the problem with both the Left and the Right on Islam. He's also the person that coined the term Islamophobia-phobia, which is the fear, so prevalent in the west, of being called Islamophobic.

So easy answer, to be admitted to the United States, you must denounce the Quran.

From the article it appears the author holds if a conservative criticizes Islam it's bigoted. If a liberals criticizes its honest.

While I wouldn't be for any religious test for entry, the Bible is a historically accurate compilation of books.
I agree to the point of verifiable historical events that are physically possible. Lets not pretend the whole thing is "gospel". Pun intended.

I think he's saying that some people on the right go crazy with anti-Islam, as if all Muslims are crazy fundamentalists, while some other people on the left go crazy with ultra-PC stuff where any criticism of any culture other than that of the West is evil western cultural imperialism.

People have rights but ideas don't. People should be respected no matter what religion they belong to but OTOH any idea should be open to criticism.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but in most muslim countries you can get in a lot of trouble for speaking ill of their hook. In America it is the cool thing to do.

No wonder they want to leave here and go to the US.

No need to dissent, you have faith and it works for you. I respect that, same as I do those of other faiths. It's not for me, I don't rely on faith. Moreover, I don't feel like I'm missing anything. I live in service to myself and those around me. I'm my own master, answerable only to myself.
