They want to get back to the playoff or at least a New Year’s Six bowl. We have already overachieved this year. I think our guys will be hungry because none of them have ever beaten Clemson before. It’s going to be a fun week watching my Clemson friends. They are going to be nervous as a tic.

I'm not nervous. I feel like Satt threw everything he had at UT, and the offense actually executed well, for once. AND we have a far better defense than UT. We won't be caught by surprise, and I feel like there's no chance of y'all executing that well two weeks in a row (nothing we've seen this year says otherwise). I don't love that it's a noon start, since that takes some of the advantage of playing in The Valley away, but still, not worried.

You guys are a 2 touchdown favorite at home so you are expected to win the game in front of your fans and a national television audience. But, Clemson has a lot more to lose than Carolina. You still have an outside shot at a playoff spot and definitely have a good chance at a New Years bowl. This puts the pressure on Clemson and much less on Carolina. If it stays close into the second half, will Clemson maintain their composure?

I agree Clemson has a much better front seven than Tennessee but I'm not so sure about the DBs. We will need to go with a lot of quick passes and can't expect to depend on slow developing pass plays as much as we did against UT. It will take a tweaking to the offensive strategy.

We don't need to score like we did against UT because Clemson doesn't normally have a high scoring offense. We don't need to execute to the same level as against UT to have a chance of winning. A lot depends on which Carolina version shows up. If we come out with the same attitude of attack without fear, it could be interesting.

Oh, we have plenty of warts on offense, no doubt. Still haven't even put together a complete game yet this year. Too many turnovers and bad execution. Y'all CAN beat us, and MAY even keep it close, but I just can't see what happened yesterday happening again. That was lightning in a bottle, and I'd actually bet on that, lol.
