On an early November night, #1 ranked Kansas beat Michigan State to cut the all-time wins lead temporarily to four. Kentucky, with a group of players who’d never faced a significant opponent together, prepared to play Duke…

If you had told me then that on the night of the Sweet 16, that lead would be DOUBLE and counting, I would have thought you were nuts.

Great job Pope and Cats.

UNC ain't gonna win much as long as Hubert Davis is there. They're losing RJ Davis and Withers for sure, probably a couple others to transfer and NBA, and they only gave changing prospect they have for now is Caleb Wilson. I don't see many more tournament wins next year or beyond.

As of tonight; North Carolina has 134 tournament wins; Kentucky has 132. We had to vacate two wins in 1988.

Anyone know when UNC passed us and how this has gone in the past? I know we haven't won many games in March recently, so I feel like we had to have has this lead for a while in the late 2010s right?
