One of the most fantastic places on Earth. If this is your first trip you should visit the Punch Bowl Crater where the National Cemetery of the Pacific is located and, of course, the Arizona memorial at Pearl Harbor. Relax and have a great time.

Just scrolled across the bottom of the screen that Trump traded Hawaii to Kim Jong-un for rights to build 5 golf courses in North Korea. Lock, stock, and barrel - including all current inhabitants of the island. Damn, that’s a tough break for ole “Zipp”.

Sadly, that isn't hard to believe.

Six time zones away for the next two weeks, so there are really gonna be some interesting time stamps on my posts.

But vacation only has a minor impact. No reason to be knocking back bourbon, gazing at the Pacific, and nothing else.

Keep me informed... :p
Dang I wish I could take a 2 week vacation right now:p. Best I get is the Grand Canyon and Sedona for a 4-day long weekend at the end of the month. Hope you enjoy!

Nothing wrong with those two locations. Enjoyed them both several years ago.

Because of Zipp's avatar, I have this image of a dude who looks like Tom Jurich arguing with "Slapd!cks" at the airport bar. LOL!

Anyway, awesome. I just got back from the Pacific Northwest meself. I love Seattle. I have never been to Hawaii.

Just a short 5.5 hour jump from Seattle to Hawaii. Well worth it

If you ever get the chance Bryce Canyon is by far my favorite. Just north of the Grand Canyon.
Bryce is also a favorite of mine. Much less crowded than Zion. The wife and I camped there years ago and spent the next night at a primitive campground about 100' feet from the edge of the North Rim. Awesome memories!

Just got back into town from there. Went to Duke"s for lunch. Their buffet was $19.50, best bargain in Waikiki. Everything else was good to great, but expensive. Stayed next door at the Moana Surfrider, next door to Outrigger hotel/Duke"s. I went to Roy's also. which was also close by. We sailed form Sydney. While at breakfast on the ship sitting with a bunch of Australians, one of them said you have to go to this really good Chinese restaurant, P.F. Changs. I didn't say anything and tell them it was a chain.
