Why can’t they figure out wearing a red helmet with these would be the perfect touch... Hell we always wear white helmets.. Mix it up!

the past few seasons, Nebraska football has scared me that much! Winking
Remember that one year the big ten did a bunch of "intimidating" hype videos for each team and ours was the children of the corn one where football players ran around a corn field and ended making a seance circle? Eichorst then thought it was too dark and made them change it to something else more neutral... my how things change lmaooo

This video is sweet but I remember when we came out in our awesome Blackshirt unis last year and let the Indiana offense walk all over us like we were a high school defense.
If the actual football team could ever catch up to everything else surrounding this program that is top notch it would be something. Otherwise, all this stuff just looks stupid.

Definitely a great video.
I realize this is all about marketing, selling products, and enhancing the Nebraska brand. However, this team hasn’t earned something like this yet. At least this Blackshirt video didn’t have a Wiggles, Bob the Builder, or Dora the Explorer theme based on their performances the last several years.
However, I am hoping for the best.

...and why not? Should we just keep clubing them till they get better? It's about honoring the Blackshirt tradition, traditions are all Blackshirts, it's about holding them to a standard of the past. It's also about building excitement for recruits. Let's just support the team and wait and see what happens instead of tearing everything apart all the time. I'm happy these kids have the support, marketing, and facility to try and return to past glory.
I'm not superstitious. What I or anyone else says on a message board has ZERO impact on a team's performance. This video included.
Analogy: You are advertising a segment of the team that is superior to it's opponents. You are saying they are a "10", problem is your marketing department hired a dyslexic who mixed up the numbers...
I hope and am assuming that Adidas paid for that.
It would suck for one of those lower paid and currently furloughed staff members have to see that expense being paid and not their salary.
