I’ve said it before, I know enough about wrestling that I enjoy watching it. Watched every minute last weekend from my recliner. Next year in Cleveland. I’m 2.5 hours from downtown Cleveland.
I pulled the trigger, inquired and received a call back today. It’s a $500 (refundable) deposit to get a place in line to get a suite for the tournament. According to the gentlemen I spoke to, I’m #4 in line. They don’t have the cost yet, but I’m sure I’ll find enough friends to fill the 18-seat room.
So, am I crazy?

No, some friends and I and used to do it for concerts when I lived in Memphis. I will add that you should expect the catering to cost around 50% of what you pay for the suite.

I don't know about the cost because that is different for everyone, but I will say that I was in the Penn State section at my first ever NCAAs and it was absolutely phenomenal. Rooting along with Zain, Morgan, Jake, Pat, and many many others was something I won't forget. I was lucky enough to stumble into these tickets, but was prepared to pay $1000s if that was what it took, suite/nosebleeds, whatever, and looking back, I would not have regretted it.

Not crazy at all. If you want to see it and the cost is in your ballpark, do it. I doubt you'll wake up sometime in the future and say, "Dang. I wish I hadn't gone to see Penn State win a national championship." Split 18 ways it shouldn't be too bad.

Demand for suites at Philly set a record for the arena according to the dude that runs it. I heard a rumor that some went for 100K for the finals.

I can guarantee my recliner will be just as comfortable next year as it was this past year if that’s the case. 😆
