Am I the only one who thinks Texas could make a run?

Not saying Final Four necessarily, but if they get the right draw, they definitely have the horses to get on a hot streak and do some damage. Their size gave UK some problems and there aren't many other teams who can match up with them in that department. Then again, I could just as easily see them flame out in round one or two judging from how up and down they've played this season....

i'm shocked how bad they are doing.

I thought they would be one of the favorites to make it to final four.....

Ive been thinkin so all year...not so sure now. They would def need a favorable draw but they could be a matchup problem for lots of people.

Well we do not even know Texas is 100% in the tourney yet. I think they are, win or lose tonight...but no one really knows.

They could win a game or two...depends on their draw. UK would stomp them if they played them again IMO. UK is so much better now and Texas has regressed...a lot!

if i may, here's a little advice. whenever you see a talented and underachieving team as an 8 or 9 seed, you can pretty much always count on them losing in the first round. they either want to be put out of their misery emotionally speaking, or they're looking ahead to the 1 seed. there seem to be very few exceptions to this. unless your the fab five or last year's uk team, watch out. if texas plays someone like providence, or ohio state, or uconn in the first round, i would not pick them. because they're going to lose.

If they end up beating ISU, it would help with getting into the tournament.. Its tied at 67 all with 38 seconds left.

Yup. That said, Texas won't be an 8/9...they will be an 11 at best, maybe a 12...in one of the play in games I'd say at this point. I think they are in though with this performance tonight...despite the choke job.

I don't feel for them at all. They have way too much talent to be that bad. Screw them. I like ISU better anyway. Barnes sux,
