And now he just watches guys make lay ups with zero attempt to alter or block the shot.

I know but Williams is better than Garrison. He didn't play Williams the whole half.
If the start to the second half was any indication, Amari seems to be sleep walking tonight. He just stood around while Louisville guard basically walked to the basket for a layup.
There is a reason Garrison is getting the lions share of the minutes in the second half.

Williams plays lazy. He doesn’t hustle. He doesn’t rebound with two hands. He will not get to the floor for a ball. He doesn’t fight for position. If he consistently did those things, those specific EFFORT things that HE CAN DO IF HE CHOSE, he could be an All American. But he doesn’t want to.
Yeah something was off. That And 1 was awful. His head was not in the game and it showed.
Maybe he should try blocking some shots and playing like a 7’. Seems he only wants to play point guard on offense. I’m just frustrated with his lack of intensity, especially on D. And he needs to dunk those 2 foot shots underneath. In a nutshell, he’s just doesn’t seem to want it enough.

Amari started the game playing as good as he has all season. Brandon's motor is always running though. I wish Amari played as hard as Brandon.
