Amazon Prime and Kindle Unlimited

So my wife wants to sign up for Kindle Unlimited with Amazon which is essentially the same price per month as Amazon Prime.

Amazon Prime has some Kindle perks that come with it - are they enough to not have to sign up for both subscriptions because I'd much rather get Prime.

Anyone that uses Kindle for Amazon please weigh in.

Prime is life changing, but it is not that great for the Kindle perks. I have both.

Prime is obviously incredible.

As to the Kindle, I have one but find myself buying everything in print if feasible. What I really want is the option to buy a print, e-book, and audible version of whatever I buy.

They've already figured out how to sync the Kindle and audible progress on a book, just send me the text too.
