Bought the Lego Ultimate Collector Series Tie Fighter for $125. That is a *very* nice price for that set. Pretty excited.

With millions upon millions of SKUs, do they even list everything for sale? I looked up one item today to purchase, not even thinking today was Prime Day, which I posted in the supplement thread. Garden of Life Raw Meal Replacement.. sure enough it was ~35% off. That isn't some hot commodity item..

Maybe look for things you want to purchase first? Have to imagine there's quite a bit marked down.

You've got to hand it to Amazon for being geniuses. They took what's probably a slow time in the retail industry and got people to start buying Star Wars lego sets and other crap no one wants en masse by taking $20 off. Amazing.

I guess those are like huge scale models? Like can a baby fit in the tie fighter?

Kids toy prices at that age range are absurd.

Sorry.. Kids toys AND adult toys.

$125 for Lego toys? I Mean it looks bad ***, but damn when did Lego jack up their prices to Gucci level.

They are very large, and the lines which are adult oriented like this one appreciate in value.* When I get tired of looking at one of the older ones on the shelf I flip it, buy a new one, and pocket the excess. It's a good time killer and something I've just been into a long time. Would not advise this line for children.

*Not advising this as an investment. They tend to appreciate 100% within a year of retirement of the set. The 'golden rule' for Lego prices is also 10 cents per piece, which that set beats pretty well given the piece count (1465) and the discount price ($125 from $200).

Now that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying that up.

Was initially shocked when I saw that price.

Yeah, if you're into collecting things that appreciate in value, legos are a smart move. If they discontinue, value goes UP.

That's pretty cool.

I don't think I could even put a Lego thing like that together. I would likely get frustrated and throw it.

I looked through my previous purchases and nothing was eligible.

I looked up toaster ovens and vacuum cleaners. They listed one toaster oven, 100% claimed, and one vac that was similar to what I want but not quite right.

For some reason, every time I go to amazon, the first suggestion is a night light that goes in the toilet bowl (marked down to 15 bucks, btw). I don't know how they found out about my aim issues, I've effectively blamed the kids for years.

Ordered a second FireTV box and saved $30. I needed another one anyway so I went ahead and ordered it. We are pretty close to cutting the cord with cable now that I figured out I can mirror my iPad apps to the FireTV.

Snagged a pair of $99 Bose ear buds for $49 along with a complete leather bound set of the Game of Thrones for $42.

Oh, and Legos are dope. Currently have the LEGO Tower Bridge set put together and on display on my wife's piano. The Ghostebuster firehouse is next on the agenda.
