AMC's Preacher.. anyone else watch?

So I saw great reviews online and wanted to check it out. If you are like me and never read the comic, its probably a little puzzling right now because the first episode didnt explain much and I'm sure this is a show that will reveal things as it goes along... But I liked it.

So if anyone else watched the premiere.. what did you think? yay or nay?

Thought it was kinda cool. Will definitely give it a chance to see if it's as good as advertised.

I watched last night and liked it. I too have not read the comic so I am trying to figure out exactly what the storyline is but going to watch the series I enjoy shows with themes like this.

Man.... this show is like lost in the way the pilot opens up 40 questions and answers basically none of them and leaves you having to watch more just to figure it out. Whats the invisible thing? is It evil? Is it good? Why didnt the Preacher go the way of the other two guys before him? Whats exactly happened to his dad? Why did they hire the writers of American dad to put the words on the church sign? (having something funny every time you see the sign)

and thats only a few questions. darn you AMC ..... well thank you for giving me a show to watch at this time of year which in the past has been boring... but darn you for hooking me onto another show that I'm sure i'll never have answers to until season 5

I don't know anything about this, but I'll check it out after I get through season two of Bloodline.
