Nana looked pretty good against Okie St I thought. I was very impressed with his intensity. He's a strong kid.Akenten should be able to pick up most of those minutes - well hopefully, anyway. I feel like Thor would have a hard time guarding a fence post.
he looked pretty good against Okie St. I haven't specifically watched him previously but I didn't think he screwed up any more than Cope or Palmer at least in that game and physically he can handle some of those stronger dudes that Copeland gets pushed around by. I think he's going to be a good player for us down the road. I thought he showed some good effort in Sioux Falls.Nana is a liability on defense. He will need to pick it up on that end.
Yes, Akenten has a long way to go before he's a good defender. But he's at least athletic enough to stick with his man if he put his mind to it. With Thor, the opponent pretty much just figures out who he's guarding and runs a clear-out.Nana is a liability on defense. He will need to pick it up on that end.

There’s a reason why half the team has to get sick for Thor to get 4 minutes, and it’s on the defensive end. For a guy pressed into emergency duty, he sufficed against OSU. In conference play I don’t think he’ll see the court unless there’s another illness or injury.Did we watch the same game? Thorir only played 4 minutes against Okie State, and I don't recall them just clearing out 1 side of the court to go 1-on-1 against him. Maybe I missed it, but in such a short amount of playing time I don't think OSU did that much with Thorir in there to have even made a difference. From what I remember, he did just fine for the little he played (had 2 of the 13 total assists).
I don't think it was a coincidence that we struggled on both ends of he floor when he played in that first half. There’s a reason why half the team has to get sick for Thor to get 4 minutes, and it’s on the defensive end. I also don't think it's a coincidence that Thomas Allen, who Miles was planning to play little as possible, logged 27 minutes.I don't think it was a coincidence that we struggled on both ends of he floor when he played in that first half.
