Not surprisingly, only a minority of posters know what what goes behind successful QB play (chuckle at Saints fans who think they would've won 12 games last season if he hadn't gotten injured).

As far as Trevor visiting the Bears - don't think it's the best fit for him as a pocket QB needs at least 2 of the following to be successful - good O-line/protection, weapons to throw to and/or stud RB (who is also a receiving threat), but it probably gives him a decent chance of getting some playing time this season.

Don't know what the Colts situation is at back-up QB, but Siemian would be a good fit (he's basically a Matt Ryan type QB, but with some mobility).

Trevor not getting much love on Windy City Gridiron, which is about as novel as a Packers jersey at the Brat Stop. Backup QB signings for bad teams in the off-season provides online fodder that is tantamount to a “kick me” sign at a biker bar.

This comment won the thread:

Siemien is what he is. A decent or servicable QB who possesses an excellent mullet.

Trevor’s most marketable skill is being a good locker room veteran. After that it’s the ability to make quick reads and get the ball out, which is always valuable for a backup QB.

The things is, Trevor has never played with a good supporting cast (particularly the O-line) whether that be in the NFL (doesn't look to change if he sees playing time with the Bears) or with his time with the Cats.

Let's remember, Brady had a ho-hum QB rating of 88 in his last season with the Pats.

The best thing to come out if Trevor's time with the Saints may be this nickname - ***** Denom. lol

An interesting factoid - Trevor is the only QB to have led his team to victories over Brees and Brady in the Superdome.
