I have saw Kerr play more than any current Cat. I hope I am wrong but in the past he was not a good defender at all. He was careless with the ball. Shooting wise he was all or nothing. Lights out one game couldn't throw it in the ocean next game.
However he was on a horrible team last year with next to no help around him. Hopefully with the talent the Cats have he will shine. I just don't know if he will be consistent. Not a huge deal really if he isn't UK has a coach who will cut his minutes if he isn't productive enough.

Yeah wasn't excited with the pickup. Hopefully Pope has coached that out of him.

No Kriisa, and still had NINE guys in double figures and Chandler — who looked like the best player on the floor in the B/W game — wasn’t one of them.

This team is deep as hell. If we can just stay healthy, we will be a problem… for everybody.
Good Point, of course, but how many minutes does Kriisa play and who does he take minutes from ??
I'm talking about in all of the major OOC games and in the SEC.
The distribution of minutes by CMP and the trade-off of offense/defense will be most interesting to watch this year, I think, especially in tight games and down the stretch. We have a lot of pieces, without question.
GO CATS !!

He was rated as one of if not the best catch and shoot player in the country last year. At least that is what I have heard....don't have access to analytics.

It is interesting to note that he attempted the same number of three-pointers as Sheppard and Dillingham last year.

I was watching Kriisa footage before yesterday's game and a few of his "turnovers" were dimes or lobs that his teammates couldn't capitalize on. We should be able to.

No idea how good or bad his defense is or turnover margin will be at UK, but I'm looking forward to watching him finally suit up.

I saw a clip where he was talking about how hard he was working to become a better defender. He will be adequate IMHO.

I thought that we might actually see some full court press, with being as deep as we are....

Kerr is our back up to Butler, Perry will see way less minutes with Kerr back or if Kerr comes back. I heard a podcast yesterday (not KSR or UK poscast) but 2 guys thinking they can discuss basketball. One stated he had heard through the grapevine that Kerr might redshirt to play next year. Not sure what to think but the way they discussed UK, backhanded congrats, they are not UK fans and probably just trying to start crap. Anyway if Kerr plays he will be the 6th or 7th man. He can play the 1 or 2.

Kriisa will play a valuable role on this team. When our opponent's star player is the sensitive type, it will be Kerr's job to hurt his feelings.

Since I first saw our roster I've been saying that we're going to be a lot better than most people thinks. We've got plenty size, can't imagine a team in the country with more depth, we've got 3 point shooters all up and down the roster. Then throw in the fact that we've got a coach that lets his players play loose & free with the green light to shoot the 3 which means the other team will have to come out and guard the perimeter which will result in being able to backdoor the other team to death. Kentucky is going to be hard to guard.
